Our Narrator and her team had two weeks to complete their science fair project. To really wow the judges, they need to figure out what their strengths are and how they can use those to come up with the best project. They test out various ideas with the help of a full garage laboratory and curious cat. They work together as a team to lend support wherever needed, especially during ice cream breaks. This is a story about problem solving and looking for inspiration in the strangest places.

About the Author
How Do I Explain My Career in the Classroom?
I started as a software engineer, building programs to help computers do what they do best; make our lives easier. After years behind the keyboard, I took up a microphone and began hosting the “Software Daily” show.
My show explores how software is changing the world around us. I share news of great new inventions and help my listeners understand the impact of these leaps. Software is the language of computers and computers are involved in pretty much everything we do, so looking at software helps us understand where our world is headed.
I believe in the power of creativity to advance the software we use everyday. Brilliant minds will not only make things faster and easier, but come up with new solutions for problems we didn’t even know we had!
When in Doubt, Dance Party!
The kids of Work Fast don’t let the past dictate how they will approach the science fair. They look for new ways to innovate and create while having fun. Through trial and error, they learn how to stand out from the crowd with a project that gets a big reaction from the judges. This book takes the classic volcano and turns it up to eleven with youthful engineering.
